Who We Are
We are a family owned Disc Jockey (DJ) and Karaoke business in the Columbus, Ohio area. My name is Eric Fisher and my wife is Amanda. My wife and I started our disc jockey service company in 1998. We have had wonderful success and have made many new friends over the years with our special clients. The company’s original name was Body Rock USA and the current name is Columbus Platinum Party DJs.
So, you may ask why we chose to start a DJ business? The answer is simple, we love all varieties of music and we love entertaining people. To us being a DJ is not a job, playing music and entertaining people is something we love to do and that is why we started our DJ business. We take our DJ business very seriously and we strive to provide the best service to our clients. We treat each party as if it was our own party, after all most of our business is based on repeat clients and referrals. We will not rest until we have completed the event and everything has gone according to the plan or better than what we have promised our client.
Some people may treat the disc jockey business as merely a business opportunity, but we view the DJ business as a privilege for us to be a part of your party and to share your special moment whether it’s a graduation, a wedding, or a Christmas party. As the old saying goes, “find a job that you love and you will never work a day in your life.” My wife and I have been together for 17 years and have two beautiful children that we love very much. This is not a weekend cash gig for us, but a long-term relationship with our clients. We appreciate all our clients and would do anything in our power to make their special moment last a lifetime. As our company slogan states, we are here to “Make Memories Last.”
